Lifting

Facial rejuvenation surgery

El Lifting is a procedure which can be selected to correct wrinkles and suspend facial tissues which have descended due to the aging of the skin and the muscular system of the face. This procedure gets rid of/eliminates surplus skin and suspends those tissues requiring repositioning. It is usually accompanied by a surgical treatment of the eyelids (Blepharoplasty) since the aging of the face and neck generally involves the skin and muscles of the periorbital region. The place where the incisions are made depends on each particular case and on the level of skin aging

El Endoscopic lifting is a procedure with a minimal number of incisions assisted by an endoscopic video-camera which repositions the muscular system of the face and avoids large incisions that might make the post-operative recovery last longer.

It is important to have a talk with your surgeon on the type of anesthesia that will be used; this kind of treatments are generally performed under local anesthesia and anesthetic sedation (neurolepto-anesthesia) outpatiently. Remember to ask how post-operative recovery would be like so that you could return to your daily chores.

Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Blepharoplasty is a surgical technique that consists of correcting the excess skin and the fat bags of the upper and lower eyelids. These symptoms, caused by the passage of time, give an appearance of aging and tiredness that affects the whole face. There is no more adequate age for this type of intervention since the appearance of bags under the eyes can occur both early and advanced, although as the tissues of that area are relaxing, the bags are accentuated and there is more skin in excess.

Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) is a brief surgery, with a simple postoperative and lasting results. This technique can be applied alone or in conjunction with other facial aesthetic surgeries.

Rhinoplasty Nose Surgery

Nose plastic surgery (rhinoplasty) can reduce or increase the size of the nose; change the shape of the tip, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. At the initial visit, the surgeon will ask how you would like your nose to look like, analyze the structure of both your nose and face, and evaluate the surgical possibilities.
Certain factors can influence the procedure and the results. These factors include the structure of your nasal bones and cartilage, the shape of your face, your age, the thickness of your skin and your expectations. Possible breathing problems, which will be corrected during the same operation, should be evaluated.
This procedure is performed outpatiently, under local or general anesthesia. A plastic cast will cover your nose for seven days. Remember that your nose will have edema for three months and the final outcome will be observed within about the eight month after surgery. Remember to have a talk with you surgeon on your expectations as regards the procedure and the recovery period so that you could return to your daily chores.
